“THE GOLDEN BALL”, is a funny comedy full with adventures. We wanted to make our first step into real image film productions, for children as well.
It has a special cultural and social value since its contents have been thought to help the small spectators to enjoy the cinema growing in values:
“THE GOLDEN BALL” makes a clear commitment to dialogue, friendship and mutual help as antidotes against intolerance, harassment and other forms of
intransigence in the school environment of the protagonist, unfortunately so widespread in our schools.

The film highlights the value of the protagonist and his fidelity to friends. All this in the middle of absurdly funny situations that occur when magic makes permeable
the border between reality and fantasy.

“THE GOLDEN BALL” will also help the children to reflect on the boundaries between reality and fiction. Two worlds that the smaller ones tend to confuse, holding on to the belief that everything that happens on the other side of the screen is real and true. This film explores these limits and makes them aware of them.

It is the first film that EXTRA PRODUCTIONS (Maite Ruiz de Austri and Iñigo Silva) produces in real image, with actors and technical equipment from Extremadura and the Extremadura singer SORAYA who makes her cinematographic debut.
